This is just a small portion of the 40-foot long mural painted by local artist, teacher
and story-teller etraordinaire, Tim Trumbo. It is called "Book Mice". When you stop by see if you
can identify all 150+ characters.
There's something special about a hometown, downtown bookstore.
We enjoy visits with the friends we meet there.
We are proud of
the many authors who call the Illinois Valley their home.
It's a peaceful place.
